Okay, so I’ve been away for a while. Caught the flu, for the first time in 15 years, and lost a lot of steam. Good news is I’m back and just as I missed another review class I began a new chapter in my Jiu Jitsu life and that is P90X2! I swear they made it just for MMA fighters and Jiu Jitsu practitioners. The focus on quantity of pushups and pullups are gone and in came medicine balls, a swiss ball, and a foam roller. At first I thought they just signed a backdoor deal with these manufacturers but when I tried it I was sold. I’m writing this having only read the manual and doing the first DVD workout, but if the rest is anything like it, core heaven!!!! Who knows I might actually get to 90 days this time. The most important goal though is to spend half of this month (Feb) doing just this and the second half doing both P90X2 and lots of rolling. This should get me right in shape for the next review class. I’m psyched. I’ll be sure to keep you updated on my progress. See ya!
